Join the AWARE Team for a 30 minute tour of their curated section at Frieze Masters titled “Modern Women”. This year it is dedicated to solo exhibitions by women artists working between 1880–1980, a pivotal period for women’s rights and feminism. Artists include Faith Ringgold, Lisetta Carmi and Ethel Walker.

You will need your own Frieze ticket to attend this event. 

About AWARE

A non-profit association founded in 2014 by Camille Morineau (former director of exhibitions and collections at La Monnaie de Paris), AWARE works to shed light on women artists of the 19th and 20th centuries. AWARE represents a diverse span of voices and has developed a resource of texts written by some 450 researchers, curators, feminist art historians, art critics and activists from across the world.
