If you were to give advice to your younger self, what would it be?
Consistence and persistence are key. While you may not be exactly where you want to be at first, don’t give up and don’t back down. Everyone has a separate path and timeline and you have the ability to create your own.

Which female artist, living or dead, would you invite to a fantasy dinner party and why?
Judy Chicago because it would be an incredible opportunity to throw her an actual dinner party in celebration of the fierce feminism she’s championed since the 1970s. Hopefully she’d bring some plates!

Do you collect art?
While I can’t say that I physically own any major artworks, I’d like to think that every gallery visit allows you to collect the experiences and impacts certain works have on you. Two of my dream works would be a large gestural painting by Cecily Brown and a pastel still life by Wayne Thiebaud. I’m always drawn to their distinct uses of color and control.
