IN CONVERSATION: KARA GNODDE, LIBBY HEANEY AND LINA GHOTMEH

  • Serpentine Pavilion London, England, W2 3XA United Kingdom (map)

Serpentine invite AWITA members a talk on the topic of “Head vs. Heart” - the time-honoured dichotomy between contrasting human tendencies such as numbers vs. emotions, rationality vs. love - explored in author Kara Gnodde’s novel, The Theory of (Not Quite) Everything.

Panellists alongside Gnodde include British artist and quantum physicist Dr. Libby Heaney, whose pioneering work has pushed the boundaries of creative applications for AI technologies, and French-Lebanese architect Lina Ghotmeh, designer of this year’s Pavilion titled À Table, which is a feat of engineering that reimagines primal community functions of gathering and shared experience.

Moderated by Serpentine’s Chief Executive, Bettina Korek.
