Who Are NXT GEN?

A joint venture directed by the AWITA Co-Founders Sigrid Kirk and Katrina Aleksa and All About Art Founder Alexandra Steinacker-Clark.

We are committed to being forward-thinking, with an Advisory Board that offers guidance to ensure NXT GEN stays valuable to its members, relevant to the sector, and focused on promoting diversity and equity for the next generation of arts professionals

  • Absolutely! There are no age limits. If you're interested in an arts career, you're welcome, regardless of your past industry experience. Students and recent grads are also encouraged to join.

  • This program is designed specifically for those pursuing careers in the arts sector, not for practising artists.

  • AWITA is tailored for women, or those identifying as women, with over five years of experience in the arts. NXT GEN, however, welcomes anyone in the first five years of their arts career journey.
