Have you launched any online initiatives?
Back in March, I launched The Co19 Project as a modest and collaborative effort to democratise the archive of our Covid experiences through art.

Do you think there will be changes from this period (working from home/changes in childcare) that you will continue with after lockdown ends?
Where many have been putting themselves at risk to go to work or are furloughed while others face redundancies,  working remotely is a great privilege and one that I am extremely grateful for in this crisis.

The positive changes we have collectively experienced through lockdown will stay with us long after. The increased transparency and authenticity in communication within our sector is a welcome shift that I hope will continue alongside a greater commitment to uplifting marginalised voices.

Have there been any books that you have read during this period that you would recommend to the rest of our membership base?
The Parable Series by Octavia Butler contains two brilliant novels written by a Black female author from the US. They were written in the 1990s and set in 2025 with an uncanny prescience of what is happening today. I have also just picked up Monstrous Intimacies by Christina Sharpe.

Which art exhibition/event artist are you looking forward to the most now art spaces are reopening?
I live quite close to the Tate and I have missed being able to walk through at a moment's notice as the collections remind me of why I am in this business. I am very much looking forward to sitting with the work again.
