AWITA hosted a crucial panel-led open discussion on balancing power dynamics between the commercial and not-for-profit art sectors.

The discussion emphasised our individual ‘soft power’ and the need to carefully consider our ethics and expectations when forming and maintaining partnerships.

Speakers included May Calil, Founding Partner of Marks | Calil and board member of the Chisenhale Gallery, Dominique Heyse-Moore, Senior Curator of Contemporary British Art at Tate Britain and Alys Williams, Founding Director of Vitrine Gallery.
