Opportunity to Curate Sculpture Installation

AWITA continues our partnership with Brookfield Properties that offers members the opportunity to curate a sculpture installation in the 100 Bishopsgate ground floor space.

As one of the premier real estate sites developed and managed by Brookfield Properties, 100 Bishopsgate is part of a portfolio that serves over 20,000 tenants across the City of London. With a focus on maximizing the tenant experience, they believe in the unique ability of art and culture to transform spaces, bring people together and provide inspiration.

Members are welcome to apply with proposals that respond with a 3D poetic mindfulness to the title ‘Of Being Numerous.’ The exhibition duration is 10 months, possibly extending up to 12 months based on the proposal and budget. The full brief can be found here.

The partnership launched earlier this year with an installation by Jodie Carey, curated by Eve Miller, Sales Coordinator and Assistant to Directors at Edel Assanti.. Amelia Bowles will exhibit work curated by Millie Jason Foster, Director of Gillian Jason Gallery, this coming September.

AWITA is excited to partner once again with Brookfield Properties continuing our commitment to the visual arts and supporting the work and labour of female creatives.

‘It is important for artists to be given the opportunity to reshow and present previous artworks and series again, this widens the exposure of their works to new audiences and allows the artist a new income stream for a thoughtfully produced body of work.’
— Saff Williams, Curatorial Director at Brookfield Properties
