July 2017 Mentoring Walk and Talk

Our mentoring programme was officially kick-started in July. Our mentor “Walk and Talk” saw members, grouped as mentors and mentees, paired in small groups. Groups were mindfully curated so that mentees could discuss career challenges they are facing, whilst mentors could reflect on career challenges they have previously tackled. The walk began at Mhairi Vari's "Support for a Cloud" sculpture -- part of Sculpture in the City 2017, where both the artist and Curator Domo Baal, were present to introduce the piece. We ended the walk at White Cube Bermondsey, where the Curator of "Dreamers Awake", Susanna Greeves, graciously gave us an introduction to the exhibition.
