AWITA strives to support the talent pipeline through professional development, mentoring and networking. Ten sponsored memberships are available annually to encourage the widening participation and diversity of the AWITA community. We especially welcome applications from arts professionals who identify with communities which are underrepresented in our industry.
From 24th July to 1st October, you can apply for a sponsored membership on the website. As part of the application process, you will be asked to supply a CV along with a personal statement of no more than 250 words describing how an AWITA membership will support your career development.
Applicants will be advised of the outcome by the middle of October with an announcement at an evening event on 22nd November.
We invited all those interested in applying for sponsored membership to attend our BLACK VENUS SUMMER PARTY on Monday 24th July. It was a great opportunity to meet some members and get a feel for the network.
