Speakers include Süreyya Wille (Arts Consultant), Megan Bradley (Owner & Director Bradley Ertaskiran), Christine Sadler (Principal of Sadler Art Advisory) and Ilana Shamoon (Deputy Director of Programs at the Toronto Biennial).

Speakers:

Süreyya Wille is a consultant working at the intersection of technology and the arts. With more than twelve years experience in sales and strategy, Süreyya’s expertise allows her to challenge the status quo, helping clients pursue and implement digital transformations and cutting-edge innovation. Her clients include galleries, institutions, artists, collectors, and private firms (including start-ups and small businesses).

Megan Bradley is a founding owner and director of Bradley Ertaskiran in Montreal, Canada. Born of a merger between two experienced gallerists Megan Bradley and Antoine Ertaskiran, Bradley Ertaskiran has fostered its position as a leading contemporary art gallery in Canada since its inception in 2020. Before co-founding Bradley Ertaskiran, Bradley was the director at Parisian Laundry (Montreal), known for its innovative, and ambitious programming. Prior to this, Bradley founded Galerie Push (Montreal), a young gallery space focused on emerging Canadian artists.

Bradley holds a master’s degree in art history from Concordia University. She was on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Contemporary Art Galleries Association from 2015 to 2020 and has worked as an advisor for private collections and a development and communications director in the not-for-profit arts sector. Currently, she sits on the Board of Directors of the Darling Foundry (Montreal). Bradley focuses on a long view approach to artist representation, building relationships with international institutions, curators, and collections to nurture continued support and development for artist practices.

Christine Sadler is Principal of Sadler Art Advisory, a firm offering art advisory services for collectors and fine art services for the care, management and logistics of art collections.  Previous to this, she held leadership positions at the National Portrait Gallery, London, the Design Museum, London, the Jewish Museum, New York, the National Gallery of Canada, and the McMichael Collection, Toronto. She holds a BA and an MA in Art History and an MBA, and has served on the Board of Directors of the Toronto Biennial of Art. 

Ilane Shamoon is Deputy Director of Programs at the Toronto Biennial of Art. She oversees all aspects of the Biennial’s public and learning programs, as well as TBA publications. She joined the Biennial Curatorial Advisory Group in 2016 and subsequently led the Curatorial Framework research for the inaugural curatorial team. Prior to joining the Biennial, Ilana was curator at the Fondation Cartier pour l’Art Contemporain in Paris (2006-15) where she curated numerous exhibitions including Native Land, Stop Eject, and regularly commissioned artworks, events, and performances. Upon her return to Canada, Ilana ran the public art program at Waterfront Toronto from 2016-17 and has worked as an independent curator for institutions including The Image Centre, Toronto.
