Theodora Clarke
Conservative MP for Stafford
Theodora Clarke is a Co-Founder of AWITA and currently Chief Executive of The Coalition for Global Prosperity, supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. She previously founded Russian Art Week in London and the website Russian Art and Culture, which was twice voted Top 10 Arts and Culture blog in the UK. As a freelance art historian, lecturer and critic she specialises in Russian art and European modernism. Theodora is a frequent and popular commentator on culture, international affairs and politics in TV, print and radio.
Theodora has written for a number of publications including the Telegraph, Country Life, The Art Newspaper and The Burlington Magazine. She is NADFAS accredited lecturer and has previously spoken at institutions which include the Victoria & Albert Museum, Tate Britain and Harvard University. Theodora has a Masters in Russian art from the Courtauld Institute of Art in London and has previously worked at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and Christie's. She also stood as a Parliamentary Candidate in the 2017 and 2015 General Elections.
