How to Fight FOMO

Stacey Duguid spoke to members about tackling FOMO, explaining that the "fear of missing out" stems from our innate need for social connection—something social media tends to amplify.

“We are often in this constant state of comparison,”but Stacey reminded us that in creative industries, you'll be working alongside your peers for the next 20 years. “Make sure that your kindness, your politeness and how you make people feel is what people remember."

Her advice? Treat your social feed like a job—and remember, other people’s feeds are their job too.
