Nancy Durrant

Culture Editor of the Evening Standard


Nancy Durrant is the Culture Editor of the Evening Standard in London. She is a presenter on the Evening Standard Theatre Podcast, and has appeared on BBC Radio 4's Front Row, Times Radio, Channel 4 News, Sky News and more as a cultural commentator. Her interview subjects include Ai Weiwei, Wayne McGregor, Tracy Emin, Phyllida Barlow, Antony Gormley, James Norton and two of the brothers from Bridgerton; she's hoping for a hat-trick. She is on the judging panel for the South Bank Show Awards and chair of the judges for the Evening Standard Theatre Awards and the Evening Standard Art Prize. She can usually be found either in very well-lit or very dark rooms watching art happen in a variety of ways.
