The Eye Has A Gender
Ahead of Frieze, members have the chance to regroup at the Sotheby’s Contemporary Art sale, which brings together the most exciting artists working today. A panel will explore how women collectors are shaping art history through acquisitions, commissions, and curatorial authorship. Collecting is not only an expression of taste but also a form of agency, cultural diplomacy, and symbolic power.

Eliza Gluckman, Director of Government Art Collection
Rachel Thomas, Chief Curator of the Hayward Gallery
Svetlana Marich, Curator, Writer, and Contemporary Art Expert
Moderated by Aleksandra Ziemiszewska, Head of Contemporary Day Auctions at Sotheby’s London
