Member Exhibition at Minor Attractions and Women In Art Fair. 9th - 13th October

Member Sarah Le Quang Sang wanted to share with members two projects she is exhibiting this week:

Damaris Athene at the Women In Art Fair (9-12th October). Booth 11. Buy your tickets here

Athene’s transdisciplinary practice explores the posthuman and how lived experience mediated through technology offers new ways of viewing the materiality and potential of the body.

Beverley Duckworth and a sound performance by Laima Leyton, at Minor Attractions (9-13th October). Buy your tickets here

Working with living sculpture and installation, Beverley Duckworth creates spaces and moments which connect the smallest, poetic actions of plants with precarious issues facing humanity. Her practice centres on the afterlife of the discarded and is rooted in small acts of reparation.

Sonic Womb by Laima Leyton
Sonic Womb by Laima Leyton is a live vinyl set unveiling a collective sound archive created by artists who are women: from the first known electronic work recorded in 1935 to now, featuring pioneer composers as Suzanne Ciani, Pauline Oliveros and Daphne Oram and sound pieces from artists Nan Goldin, Marina Abramovich, Taryn Simons.
